Epic cumulus clouds are only in summer. In winter, this phenomenon is extremely rare, and the clouds have a different structure. That evening, when I was painting this sketch, the clouds gradually began to turn into thunderstorms. But the thunderstorm passed by, only strong peals of thunder were heard and lightning was visible.
