Original artwork description:

Acrylic painting of a golden Buddha, measuring 12" X 16" on slim canvas (0.5"). It has been varnished with a gloss varnish to mimic the rich golden shine. The sides are painted blue and it is wired and ready to hang.

I find religion a fascinating subject and it often inspires me to paint. I can find the world a troubling place and felt compelled to paint something that radiated peace and harmony; Buddha fitted the bill nicely.

Every effort has been made to reproduce the colours, but individual monitor settings can cause colours to vary slightly.

Acrylic paints, dammar varnish, canvas.
