Original artwork description:

This set features 3 square wall sculptures that are created using a unique process. Pulp is created using a lignocelluosic fibrous material derived by separating the cellulose fibres found in wood. Next, this material is combined with glue to make a paste that is carefully molded by hand.
Upon thorough drying, it's gilded with imitation gold leaf on a black undercolor.
Eventually a careful chemical oxidation gives the artwork a burnished gold look.
A coat of shellac protects the sculptures from further oxidation and adds a brilliant finish to the surface.
The edges are painted in a brilliant black.
