27.5 x 27.5 inches canvas size, with frame 32 x 32inches.
The artwork is in a contemporary style painted wood frame which is painted a soft white with a very pale blue wash on the outer edge.

A subject that I have painted many times and which I always find so interesting.
The Wild Garden itself used to belong to an old friend and was in fact a very boggy meadow. Overgrown with tall spindly grasses and lanky shrubs it is a delightful place. Years ago this track was the only part of the bog where an easel could be placed and be kept steady. So I made several studies here and also lots of sketchbook paintings. Later in the studio I could use them as inspiration for larger works on canvas.

The painting is shipped wrapped in several protective layers before being placed in a sturdy cardboard box.
I always send my paintings by courier and tracked for extra security.
