Yesterday was Plein Aire Day at the Boothbay Botanical Gardens - and it was a perfect day!! A little windy in the afternoon, but still. Blue skies and beautiful gardens - who could ask for anything more? The gold of the background flowers juxtaposed the purple tulips caught my eye - I have already set up at another place but was captivated by this color combination.
I am including a photo of my setup while painting. You can see my new palette box that my husband made me. It is light and fits in my backpack. Perfect!
