Abstract style in art was always been and still is my favorite subject in painting.
Why I think so?
since the artist does not have an image of an object that needs to be depicted by himself. The artist acts spontaneously, recovering from any conventions.
Abstract art takes skills, artist”s ability to work with colors, shape and space.

This is my new series of my abstract works. Oil paint is applied on a "gold base" (gold imitation leaves).
In general events, the effect of old trends, paint is still preserved on the meeting places.
Bright colors effectively contrast with the golden areas on the canvas.

My idea for this painting was - to depict ancient canvas.

Professional grade pigments on linen cotton canvas, hand stretched and gallery wrapped over a 2cm deep stretcher frame made from extra strong pine.
The painting is sealed with a top layer of varnish protecting it from UV rays, dust and moisture.

Arrives ready to hang with wrap-around painted edges.

All work is signed on the back of the canvas and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
