Watercolor painting 41 x 31 cm (16 H x 12 W Inch).

I was walking with my wife along the river Seine in Les Andelys in Normandy when from the corner of my eye I spotted a brightly lit space between the trees at the other side of the river. It was sunlight shining through the trees lighting out a stairway down to the river where there was a little blue boat lying on the water. Perfect subject for a painting.
