Lakshmi - is one of the principal goddesses in Hinduism. The word ‘Lakshmi’ is derived from the Sanskrit word “Laksya”, meaning ‘aim’ or ‘goal’, and she is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual. She is the embodiment of beauty, purity, generosity, grace and charm.
Along with Parvati and Saraswati she forms the trinity of Hindu goddesses “Tridevi”. She holds the promise of fertility, power, material fulfilment and contentment.
According to the tradition, Lakshmi gives blessings of money in life. This is the reason why devotees make various efforts to please Goddess Lakshmi.
I have depicted a traditional Mahalakshmi Yantra which is the most auspicious yantra for gaining the unceasing blessing of Goddess Lakshmi. According to the Hindu tradition, this Yantra is capable of bestowing good fortune and wealth on the worshipper.
