Original artwork description:

The Complete title for this artwork is "There Was God in My Brokenness!" This small 5x8 original one of a kind semi-abstract artwork is created on a piece of coarse discarded sailboat Sail canvas. It is the first offering of my new series of artworks I am creating for those of us that are not able to afford expensive pieces of art but desire ART in their world. It is also for those that do not have much room for art but desire to share their space with Art. This first collection of small artworks is based on musical inspiration. This first piece is based on lyrics in the song "Maybe The Miracle " by Lizzie Morgan. (The lyrics are posted below)

A NOTE about this artwork. As you can see these sections of sailboat sail canvas are very rustic. They are unraveled on the edges and some slightly wrinkled... like a piece of a sail found on the beach. They are also seldom perfectly square due to the characteristic of its flexibility and the ability to stretch with the wind. For me this just adds to the essence that this is indeed a piece of sailboat sail canvas... perhaps from a lost ship at sea! Let your imagination soar with this one! These small artworks can easily be hung with tacks or two sided tape These artworks are for the special GREEN-minded people who are like me in that they hate to discard things that can be repurposed. Especially into works of Art.

LYRICS to "Maybe The Miracle!" By Lizzie Morgan
I prayed, tears on my face
I asked for You to do
What only You could do
I waited, day after day
But nothin' seemed to change
And then there came the day
When all I wanted fell apart
But it fell in Your hands

[Chorus]
Maybe the miracle is not what I asked You for
Maybe my deepest pain, deepens me to know You more
God in my brokenness, you were my faithful friend
And now I see, that may be the miracle

[Verse 2]
You and I don't always see eye to eye
We make such different plans
In time, I understand
Your thoughts are higher
Ways are wiser
If I look back, I realize that

[Chorus]
Maybe the miracle is not what I asked You for
Maybe my deepest pain, deepens me to know You more
God in my brokenness, you were my faithful friend
And now I see, that may be the miracle
