This painting, titled 'Go Green,' is part of my ongoing series exploring people and markets. I was drawn to the vibrant sunlight and the play of shadows on the woman's colorful saree. To emphasize the figure, I've kept the background soft and blurred.
The painting's title reflects the themes of health and sustainability. The woman is selling fresh, green vegetables, a healthy choice. The bicycle in the background is a symbol of eco-friendly transportation. And, of course, the predominant green color throughout the piece reinforces the environmental message.
This painting is made on a 300 gsm Baohong CP watercolour paper using Artist-grade paints. Signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
