This piece is one of the few larger canvases in my 'Go and Meet the Rain' series. The name of this series comes from a moving line in the ancient Book of Changes - the I Ching. This text deals in elemental realities and this aphorism suggested to me the greening of the desert after rainfall. This directed me to move to that place in myself where my creativity bubbles forth, and in darker, more challenging times I feel a much stronger imperative to do so.
