Original artwork description:

This trio of mini Glows, are a small group of beautiful art glass vessels that emulate a welcoming warmth. Using the ‘pate de verre’ technique - the pressing of glass powders into individual moulds, a detailed form of kiln casting produces these eggshell thin vessels of black glass. The 22ct gold leaf interior provides a striking contrast to the rough, textured exterior. This is a statement piece of glass sculpture, the reflection of light bounces around the curved interiors giving the illusion that they are lit from within.

Each of the Glows measure approximately 5cm diameter x 3cm high.

Taking inspiration from volcanic eruptions, this delicate black glass vessel with its
glowing gold interior resembles volcanic rock and the glowing lava within.
