The russet tones of Autumn, combined with the leaves still present against a slow decay of bountiful produce, this painting celebrates the glory of harvest time. Completed after the first lockdown in the UK, at a time when I wanted to think of travelling abroad, I completed the painting in an exaggerated palette, which helped my mind to travel when completing it. My hope is it inspires the viewer towards their own inner journey of peace and inner travel.
