From shifting weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding, the impacts of climate change are global and need to be addressed by the world. Without drastic action today, adapting to these impacts in the future will be more difficult and costly.
This painting is my entry to "Portraits from the precipice".
Increase in green house gases, deforestation, destruction of marine ecosystem have all caused global warming. The painting shows the cause due to carbon emissions and the effect of pollution on the ecosystem. The glaciers are melting and causing the sea water level to rise which is affecting the Antartica and the wild life there.
