In Berlin's Tiergarten, not far from the Brandenburg Gate and almost opposite the Memorial to the Victims of the Holocaust, there is a clearing with stones. All stones are of different shapes, some of them bear inscriptions.
The stones are the Global Stone project of the traveler Wolfgang Kraker von Schwarzenfeld, who traveled around the world on the three-masted Pegasus ship and found a pair of stones on each continent. The stones were polished and one remained in his homeland, and the second was brought to the Tiergarten. A stone from every continent symbolizes something. Europe - Awakening. My painting shows stones from Russia. Russia here stands for Asia, stones from the Urals. Symbolizes forgiveness.
