This is an oil and sand on stretched-canvas depiction of the last light at sea over a bay. The gloaming is eerily beautiful and peaceful. The fine grain sand is permanently affixed to the canvas by the binding in the oil paints and adds texture to the piece.

The piece is painted using Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists's series oils and mediums with the highest ratings of light fastness and permanence. The painting is on a one inch wooden stretcher.

The piece will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and will be dispatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. The piece is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
