New: this is a brand new series of heavily textured artworks inspired by Scottish landscapes. 150x1000cm on deep edged canvas, this abstract expressionist artwork is stretched over a deep wooden frame. No extra framing is required and the painting is ready to hang as soon as you unpack it.
Many colour washes were applied over a very heavily textured base in my signature style to create pockets of deep saturated colour. Multiple neutral, browns, creams, aqua, greens, gold, bronze colour washes and glazes. and violet/lavender/purple accents.
Highlighted with iridescent highlights, the work is very heavily textured and has sculptural qualities.
