Original artwork description:

“Glen Haven Cherry” was inspired by my visit to the historically preserved “museum” town of Glen Haven, Michigan. Maintained by the National Park Service, Glen Haven is part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore, where I was the Artist in Residence during October of 2015. I've included in the image library some inspiration photos I took on site for this piece. The watercolor sketch I did while sitting on the lawn of the adjacent bed & breakfast one afternoon while talking with curious tourists and fellow art enthusiasts. It was meant to be kind of playful and got me started on thinking about how I could do a compilation piece that would embody the spirit of the fascinating little town.
