This 2nd sculpture from my original wall sculpture series of "Splash of Gold". This beautiful sculpture was made from clear plexiglass, formed under high heat with aluminum, glass pieces and ink. The process done to make these sculptures is very long and detailed where everything is heated, painted, heated again, and then formed into abstract shapes. Everything is done by hand; there are no molds or premade patterns used. The whole sculpture is made in a free-form style, resembling glass and crystal; however, it does not shatter or break as easily as glass. I really enjoy making these little and big treasures in which my inspiration and use of color always lead me into unknown dimensions. I rarely plan my sculptures; most of the time, they are spontaneous acts of creativity and my inspiration often comes from nature. The canvas is signed and dated. Also, the certificate of authenticity is included with this artwork. This particular sculpture was inspired by beautiful waters of Gulf of Mexico, where during the sunset and sunrise the water is covered with golden sparkles. It glistens in the sun and the calm waves make music to your ears. The emerald waters of Florida Gulf Coast contrasts beautifully with the gold shine. It is a beautiful feeling. I live in the coastal region of Florida and the ocean is always my main inspiration.

Prior to shipment, the sculpture will be mounted on 11 x 14 inches white resin-coated canvas with a brass hook on the back for easy hanging. If you would prefer no canvas backing, please let know prior to shipment , so I will install the hanger directly on the back of the sculpture. The sculpture without canvas is suitable for outdoor/patio decoration as it has a sturdy, water resistant surface.

The sculpture presents itself differently in a different light settings. As with any glassy-looking artwork, it is best to display it with the proper lighting as it will illuminate the artwork and add beautiful shine with every detail visible and more dimensions.

I have always been impressed with how different light settings affect artwork and contribute to its glamour and beauty.
