As part of my 'Glass Reflections' range, I love how glass and mirrored surfaces pick up the colours from the surrounding area. I focused on using a limited palette of blues, greens and whites as I really wanted to flood the canvas with these colours. When I think of spring or summer, I tend to see these lovely cornflower blue colours. Anemones and Chrysanthemums always make great paintings. I love Anemones for their rich colours and Chrysanthemums for their tactile quality. Many viewers and collectors of my work often say they feel that they can reach into the canvas and touch the petals.
