Original artwork description:

Part of a series of paintings from a trip to Florence and Venice over Easter 2018.
Inspired by the fading and peeling red paint on the balcony of the apartment we stayed in and the glasses we drank wine from whilst watching the tourists being shipped backwards and forwards on gondolas.

I used acrylic paint on canvas and finished with a gloss varnish. The painting is signed on the back. The edges of the canvas are painted black and two d-rings are attached with screws to the wooden frame of the canvas on the back of the painting, a length of cord is included too so that it is ready to hang.

The painting will be well wrapped and packaged in a cardboard box and shipped with a tracking number.
