"Give Her a Book and a TV" is based on a portrait session with a wonderful and talented girl who was multitasking as a model: she sat for a portrait, read a book and watched an exceptionally silly TV show about a person who never ate fruits. Her universe is filled with magical pine-apples, mysterious snail-houses and an occasional monster in the corner. She also changed her clothes and posture during sitting, so I'm not sure it's really her portrait, rather a reminiscence of the girl.
I have used hibiscus tea and henna solution for background, adding layers of watercolor, ink and pastel. The work is painted on 300 g/m² Arches watercolor paper and is not framed.
