Original artwork description:

This is an opportunity to own two of my characters, Girlfriend and Boyfriend, from my book Egg Island. They were witnesses at the Trial. Also, with the painting, I will send a signed copy of my book Egg Island with the painting.

Extract from my book. Soka explained, “We held the trial; the baboon king gave the particular banana to the two monkeys, one boy and one girl, who were on guard duty that day so they could explain
what happened. “The girl monkey explained that she was on guard duty with her boyfriend; they were the only two at the farm as all the others had gone off to another part of the island for a survival lesson to teach young monkeys how to look after each other in the jungle. Around two in the afternoon my boyfriend and I sat atop a banana tree and groomed each other, and he fell asleep in my lap. She saw someone walking into the farm, looking suspicious, and stopping at a banana tree. She woke her boyfriend to have a look. It looked like the young kid knew which banana he could eat, and he picked two bananas, stuffed them in his mouth, and crammed them down, throwing the skins on the floor, not worrying about the environment.
