In this work I combine oil, collage, spray and chalk to unite the real and imaginary worlds. The female figure is surrounded by a vivid, almost abstract landscape that visualises feelings and thoughts. She is depicted in profile and her portrait merges with this environment of delicate colours and moving, gestural painting, spattered paint, patterns, oil pastels and collage - elements that together create a dynamic and emotional scene. This painting is designed to encourage the viewer to reflect on their own experiences and dreams. It brings colour and energy to any room, encourages self-reflection and inspires the imagination.
