Artwork description:

In years gone by, a doll was the most significant material object in any young girls life. It was something to care for and at times confide in. This is a small etching based on a photograph of my mother from a family album.

It began as a pencil sketch which I then 'redrew' onto a grounded zinc plate with an etching needle. An aquatint was added to achieve the tones.

The plate is inked for every print in the limited edition and handcrafted using an etching press, meaning each one is unique.

Orders are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, flat-packed between two layers of board and dispatched signed and tracked within four days.
