About VICTO

Biography

VICTO is a self-taught professional oil painter based in New York City and a member of several prestigious international art associations, including Oil Painters of America (OPA), IAA-USA (International Association of Art, USA), and the International Association of Visual Artists (IAVA).

Her work explores the intersection of ethics and aesthetics, rethinking the perception of everyday objects. Inspired by David Hume’s philosophy that beauty is a product of human consciousness, she seeks to reveal beauty in everything. VICTO believes in breaking free from imposed models of perception to experience life in its full harmony. Her art, deeply rooted in minimalism and critical posthumanism, balances between abstraction and realism, highlighting the small details of the world.

Since 2021, VICTO has been actively exhibiting her work internationally. She participated in several art fairs during Art Miami Week (2022, 2024), and was selected for a museum project, "Woman: Balancing Our World", at the MoRA Museum in New Jersey in 2023. In 2025, she is showcasing her work at three major art fairs: Affordable Art Fair New York, The Other Art Fair Los Angeles, and Edinburgh Art Fair in Scotland.

Travel is a profound influence in her artistic practice. Her time in London and the landscapes of Scotland have especially shaped her recent series. Currently, she lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, where she also runs her own contemporary space, Artseeker Gallery.

Her work is represented across multiple online platforms including Artsy, Artsper, Artfinder, Singulart, Saatchi Art, and more. In 2025, she published her debut book, "You Can Become Anyone You Choose", a guide for artists navigating career growth and creative independence.

In the next three years, Viktoriia plans to participate in prestigious art fairs such as Armory Show, NADA, and Untitled, continuing to grow her career and share her vision with a wider audience
