In this painting, the girl is presented in a cubist style. There is real emotion and complexity that comes through the broken forms of cubism. I used the play of warm and cool colors to help define the girl’s shape, while still fragmenting the form in a cubist manner. This is a large statement piece with a vibrant and bold color scheme. Acrylic on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. Edges are painted and may be hung straight out of the box.
