Original artwork description:
This painting is part of a series in which I'm experimenting with portraits in the style of various different artists. The aim was not to simply copy a Mucha, but to achieve a likeness of the sitter whilst retaining that "Mucha flavour".
Oil paint on gesso primed panel supplied in the frame shown with either a cream or dark green mat as you prefer. The frame is contemporary styled vinyl covered MDF in a walnut effect. If you prefer a different style or premium quality frame, that can be arranged at very modest additional cost. You could also easily transfer this work (and its mat) into your own 20x24" aperture frame if you have one you're particularly fond of.
