Now, who loves a giraffe? This is a beauty I met at the West Midland Safari Park a couple of years ago. I was so disappointed when I got there and they weren’t out. Then as we drove back through their enclosure on the way out, this lovely one spotted me and walked all the way up the hill to make my day 😁

I love painting on wooden panels, the colour and the grain just looked like giraffe skin to me, so I tried to keep that as part of the painting, the patches on the giraffe only have a minimal amount of paint, so you can see and feel the texture. The background is a mix of metallic purple and turquoise, which almost has the effect of oil on water.

I'm really pleased with the piece and hope you love it too.

I have left it unframed as again I feel it adds to the story of the piece, but it could always be framed as you wish.

It measures 44 cm wide (approx 17") x 70 cm tall (approx 27.5”) and can be hung directly on the wall.

It will be securely packaged and sent using a tracked service
