I hope I have been able to capture the personality of this cheeky fellow in this transparent watercolor portrait.Giraffes are unique creatures with peculiar features.I consider them really handsome with their large, liquid eyes, long eyelashes and long, slender necks.This one has been painted on Saunders Waterford paper that allows the colors to granulate and spread beautifully. The wet-in-wet technique ensures that the colors mingle with each other rather than sitting flat on the surface of the paper.
