On this crisp fall night walking my dogs, I felt like Anne of Green Gables walking through the Haunted Wood. I allowed myself to take pleasure in it rather than becoming overly anxious like our heroine Anne. In this piece I focused on creating a glowing moon, subtle shifts in color and delicate brushstrokes on the trees. I hope I've captured mysterious and thrilling beauty in this painting.
