Original oil painting, an interpretation of the paperboat sculpture "Traumschiff Tante Olga" of Anatol. The artist, student of Joseph Beuys, took part at documenta 6 and sailed in the 12 m big paperboat from Dangast (North Sea) to Kassel 1977. This artwork and the performance symbolised children's dreams, which Anatol brought to the famous international art exhibition.
In the context of today, the dreams seem to be forgotten and the carefree days very fragile.
50 x40 cm, oil on wood panel, ready to hang, with a white border about 2 cm deep. Varnished. Signed on the front and back.
