Artwork description:
Delicate drypoint intaglio print. Each print is printed by hand, and are all slightly different and unique - carefully hand coloured with watercolour and pure 24 Ct gold leaf. The intaglio prints were done following a series of visits to the Natural History Museum (Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity) where I spent a week sketching and painting specimens from the collectiion, these sketches were part of my research for an exhibition was invited to take part in dealing with the decline in pollinators.
Studio chopmark in the right hand corner.

Drypoint on Somerset 100% cotton paper handcoloured with watercolour and goldleaf
