A young traveller indicates something to an unseen companion. A subtle signal, known to them, used before. It could indicate a warning to get ready. He is wearing shorts, and a mask. The train is quiet, indicating a leisurely day ahead, the rush hour over.
The work is full of colour, detail and realism. A great addition to any collection of London art. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished. Texture has been added to create atmosphere.
