Portrait of the wonderful Georgia O'Keeffe.
I wanted to paint O'Keeffe towards the end of her life, with a beautifully lined face.
She is standing in the New Mexico sunshine, and I have used one of her own landscapes for a backdrop.
I was lucky enough to see her retrospective in Tate Modern some years ago, it was so beautiful that it almost took my breath away.
Deep Edge canvas, black edges, unframed but ready to hang.
Signed both front and reverse.
