Acrylic on panel finished with a few layers of satin varnish to seal.
This is an interesting painting where the artist marked out a grid and then masked areas to create a geometric abstract. When it came to photographing, it really did work in any which way. Prior to starting work the wooden panel was sealed, the grain of the wood shows through in areas of the painting.
Materials used:
Acrylic on sealed wooden panel, sealed with satin varnish, edges painted black.
