Words and feelings of my experience of the Dorset coast.
Original impressionist seascape on rough watercolour paper, Bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb.
A wet on wet technique was used for the washes and left it to dry then used a filbert that is wet and went over the foreground to bring out the waves, suggestive rock pool.
I left areas of white to look like the waves or sea froth. I also left light in the sky and went over the horizon to enhance the depth of muted colours.
