The Japanese Geisha is a handmade mono print art in acrylics on acid free sketching paper. The very feminine and delicate Japanese Geisha! She is not what people think of her to be. She is very intelligent, very well trained in music and dance and is an expert at entertaining! India too had such entertainers, those who danced well and sang beautifully, in the temples, in the kings courts! The beautiful and slender ballerinas who toiled through their childhood to be experts at ballet dance to entertain were no less in their abilities! I am sure one can add more of such women from different cultures! But you got it right! I need not tell how men in the past, and even to this day, thought lowly of these wonderful women.
Why? Because they were all women. This is a small homage to such entertainers...for many of whom life didn't have much to offer.
