Original artwork description:

Delicate figure of a Japanese Geisha. Special attention was given to the hairdo, paradigm and differentiating sign of Geishas from the rest of the society. I have tried to respect as much as possible the intricate structure and also the decorating needles. The kimono pattern is an original pattern from the Edo period, taken from a print of Katsushika Hokusai.

Materials used:

metal wire, glass, cord, papier maché
