Geese Over Slawit (retreating down the valley)' is a 3 colour original screen print.
This print is of a flock of geese flying high above Slaithwaite (known as Slawit to locals), in Huddersfield's Colne Valley. This is the scene that greeted me when I was leaving the house one morning.
This image started life as a digital photograph (I love taking photos and capturing places and scenes that inspire me). Through a combination of hard work, trickery and expertise I transform my photographs into screen printable artwork.
I print all my screen prints by hand with a lot of care and attention at West Yorkshire Print Workshop.
Colours: Sky blue, dark blue, light grey
