Original artwork description:

I saw these geese on a small farm in the Yorkshire Dales and thought they were beautiful. I enjoyed building up the layers of colour in this mixed media canvas.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
