Original artwork description:

Walnut hardwood panel, gesso, and oil paint. This large artwork is a "room maker", or a statement, and contains enough mystery and beauty to be gazed at for a long time. The clouds have so many interesting shapes within. I am the artist, and I keep finding new ways to look at it all the time! It's nearly 4 feet square, actually 44x44, and on a straight framing simply sticks straight out from the wall 2.5 inches, framed in black of course, since it is a B/W image. The original photograph of this image was by Charles Gotay, a great photographer of many landscapes and skies.
Gathering Storm currently adorns our own living room. It has not been for sale until now. We would like it to go to a great home.
