Original artwork description:

This gate is on the path from Ebenezers up Buckham Down towards the hazel trees and the woodland walk. The views towards Bridpaort and the Channel over Beaminster are opening up on the left. The gate leads from a wildflower meadow into a sheep pasture and on up the hill. It was a hot summer day.

I have resumed painting landscapes in oil. Last time I was doing this I was in Mexico over 40 years ago. I am finding inspiration in the landscapes around my family home, especially as we have now left.
