This painting is part of my Series of Our Act, which consists of my politically critical and socially critical artworks.
The montage-like theme combines the contradiction and similarity between the two buildings too. One is the steps of the amazing Schossberger Castle (Tura, Hungary) and the other is a building complex of a gas plant in Budapest. The similarity is that unfortunately, both building complexes are of museum value and in a depressing state. The contradiction is that legislation has also been amended to renovate the castle of Tura, which in itself would not be a problem. The family of the Hungarian prime minister acquired the castle cheaply and then renovated it with EU support. The of museum value industrial gas plant is still deteriorating.
These monuments would be worth a better fate.

In recent years, I have used OSB as a basis. By retracting the paint layers, I use the texture of the veneer as part of my compositions to create a unique rustic industrial atmosphere. Due to the OSB board, these works of art are very stable but heavy. This is recycled art.
The painting is made with self-made paint, which basically consists of pigments and beeswax. Does not contain oil or other paints.
The procedure itself dates back to antiquity and has been known for thousands of years. Only a a few artists around the world work with wax on its own.

The encaustic is equipped with a simple wooden exhibition frame, which harmonizes with the industrial style of the painting and highlights it well. Ready to hang!

This work will be delivered with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity. Carefully packaged and tracked shipping. I ship this works in cardboard boxes careful wrapped in bubble foil and protect the painting with cardboard.
