This is an original unique 6"x8" painting done with professional-grade oil pastels on specialty pastel paper mounted to board.
Oil pastels are a painting medium made from powdered pigment mixed with a binder of non-drying oil and wax. Oil pastels are water resistant because of the oil and wax binder.
This painting is treated with Sennelier oil pastel fixative that protects it from dust and smudging and varnished. The painting is mounted under 8"x10" mat, backed, and ready to frame. The mat beveled-cut opening size is 5 ½ x 7 ½ in. It easily slots into a 8" x 10" standard frame. For shipping, it is placed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. Oil pastel paintings should be framed under glass.
