Large textured floral oil painting on deep boxed canvas . Painted with impasto technique and palette knife painting . This painting very much reminded me of Chintz and chinoiserie and the style of fabrics created by the Laura Ashley era of the 70 's and 80's . It does have a vintage retro feel to it . Beautiful colours of bright pinks, lemons, violets, blues ,lime greens on a pale blue background .
