Original artwork description:

Painted on deep edge canvas using oil enamels on silver metal leaf (aluminium leaf). Birds and insects are probably the most seen wildlife but slightly unappreciated. Take another look in those flowers or trees and they are usually teaming with wildlife. I hardly ever see starlings any more but they are often seen in flocks looking for seeds and food and unbeknown to them helping pollination. I love this image of them hiding in these flowers.

Materials used:

gesso, aluminium leaf, oil enamels, van dyk crystals from walnuts to paint starlings
