This plein air painting was made in the farm garden in a sunny day in Alentejo, Portugal. Golden-yellow, green and blue colours on this picture are creating an optimistic atmosphere of the moment when the nature is awakening after a long cold winter. This landscape with a garden in traditional Portuguese style was strongly inspired by post impressionist painting, especially by the works of Paul Cézanne and Henry Matisse.

Materials: acrylic paint on canvas.

Signed on the back, signing on the front upon the request.
