Original artwork description:

This large format work features a scene from the artists' garden at his parents' house in Bucharest, Romania. The work is a 170x150cm stretched canvas on which a dominant part of the composition is taken by a large shape made of concentric, spiraling, yellow energy lines. The "Garden Hose" has its name derived from this center-piece of the artwork: the hose used to water the flowers and provide life to the garden.
In the foreground, on the layer of bricks, a few almost abstract shapes appear - they are painted with thick brush strokes and vigorous energy: wild mushrooms growing - a symbol of vitality and life of this place. Further back, the landscape becomes almost abstract as the artist chooses to de-focus the objects into a mush of brownish colors.
