Original limited edition wood engraving print. Garden Avocado engraving is inspired by the lush, fruit-rich garden during my time spent at my then Kenyan studio. Captured through quiet observation are natural textures and form of dense, leafy foliage within the depths of the bountiful tree. Memories echo of dappled gold casting changing light on organic shapes, while at the same time, rhythmically dancing your eye from here to there and there to here.

Garden Avocado is printed in black printmaking ink focussing on contrast in light, form and texture. Signed and numbered limited edition of 24 prints.

Part of the Garden Plants of Kenya series - a body of work exploring equatorial and tropical urban flora in print form produced during my year in Kenya.

Engraving carefully hand carved on wood engraving block, hand pulled with an etching press on Zerkall paper using high quality oil based inks.

Your original print will arrive unframed, wrapped in acid free tissue and protected in sturdy packaging during transit.
